FAQ
Titanium Lifting vs Ultherapy in Seoul: Which Should You Choose?
Quick answer
Titanium is a triple-wavelength diode laser lifting treatment that is very comfortable, with no downtime, good for an immediate firmer, brighter look and mild laxity. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound to lift deeper, including the SMAS, for jowls and brows. At The Heal in Jamsil, Seoul, we often pair them. What Titanium lifting is
Titanium is a diode laser lifting platform that combines three wavelengths, 755, 810 and 1064 nm, delivered with a gliding technique and surface cooling. It gently heats the skin and underlying tissue to tighten, refine contour and improve skin tone, with very little discomfort and no visible downtime. Many people notice a fresher, firmer look soon after treatment, which makes it popular before events.
Because it is gentle, Titanium can be repeated at shorter intervals and fits easily into even a one- or two-day visit to Seoul.
What Ultherapy does differently
Ultherapy Prime uses micro-focused ultrasound with live imaging to place heat at precise depths, up to 4.5 mm, reaching the SMAS. That deep, targeted energy is why Ultherapy is a cornerstone for structural lifting of the jawline, jowls, brows and under-chin. It is more intense to receive than Titanium, but downtime is still minimal.
The trade-off is comfort and intensity: Ultherapy is the stronger option for sagging, while Titanium shines when you want a refresh with no visible recovery.
Who suits which
- Titanium: early laxity, dull or tired-looking skin, those who want comfort and no downtime, pre-event refresh.
- Ultherapy: visible jowling, a heavier lower face, brow descent, longer-term structural lift.
- Combination: Ultherapy for deep structure plus Titanium for surface tone and firmness.
Your skin thickness, the amount of laxity and how soon you need to look your best all shape the choice. The doctor will explain the reasoning behind any recommendation, including when a single treatment is enough.
Results and planning your visit
Titanium often gives quicker visible freshness, while Ultherapy's lift builds over two to three months. Both have results that vary with age and skin. Both fit a short trip, as there is no wound. If you are attending an event soon after, Titanium may suit better; see event-ready glow . Ask us which fits your timeline .
Combining them in one Design Lift visit is also common when you want both structure and glow.
The Heal approach
When a patient wants both comfort and real lift, Dr. Yang often uses Ultherapy for structure and Titanium for tone in one Design Lift plan.

Frequently asked
Related questions about Titanium lifting
Does Titanium lifting hurt?
Most people find Titanium very comfortable, describing a warm, gliding sensation. Numbing is often unnecessary, though we adjust to your sensitivity.
How soon do I see Titanium results?
Many notice firmer, brighter skin within days. Further improvement can continue over the following weeks as collagen responds.
Is Titanium a substitute for Ultherapy?
Not exactly. Titanium is excellent for comfort and refreshment, but Ultherapy reaches deeper layers for structural lifting. Many patients benefit from both.
Can I do Titanium right before a flight?
Yes. There is no wound or peeling, so flying soon after is generally fine. Use sunscreen and keep skin moisturized during the journey.
