Non-Surgical Lifting & Tightening in Seoul, Korea
Quick answer
Non-surgical lifting uses focused ultrasound, radiofrequency, laser or microwave energy to tighten skin and stimulate collagen without incisions. At The Heal in Jamsil, Seoul, a board-certified dermatologist chooses between Ultherapy Prime, Thermage FLX, Sofwave, Titanium, Onda and Alltite, or combines them, based on where your laxity sits. Results build gradually and vary between individuals.

Ultrasound lifting
Ultrasound focuses energy beneath the surface to create precise heat points that trigger collagen remodelling, with little effect on the outer skin. Results develop over two to three months as new collagen forms, and the deep-layer reach of ultrasound makes it a cornerstone of lower-face and brow lifting. Mild tenderness or swelling for a few days is common.
- Ultherapy Prime — micro-focused ultrasound with real-time imaging, reaching the SMAS layer for brows, jawline and neck
- Sofwave — parallel ultrasound beams in the mid-dermis for fine lines and gentle lift with short sessions
Radiofrequency and laser tightening
Radiofrequency and laser devices heat the dermis more broadly, tightening skin and refining texture. They pair well with deeper ultrasound lifting, and some, such as Titanium, give an immediate glow that suits patients with an upcoming event.
- Thermage FLX — monopolar RF for surface tightening, texture and jawline definition
- Thermage FLX for Eyes — a dedicated eye tip for hooded and crepey eyelid skin
- Thermage FLX Body — tightening for the abdomen, arms and thighs
- Alltite RF Lifting — RF lifting based on DLTD technology
- Titanium Lifting — triple-wavelength diode laser lifting with no downtime
Contouring and fat reduction
Some lower faces look heavy because of soft fullness rather than loose skin alone. Microwave energy can reduce localized fat while firming tissue, and the doctor may suggest other options depending on the cause. Fat reduction devices work gradually, so improvement is usually assessed after a few months, and more than one session may be suggested.
- Onda Lifting — Coolwaves microwave for double chin, jowl fat and cheek fullness
- Onda Body Contouring — abdomen, flanks, arms and cellulite
- Double Chin Reduction — combining contouring and lifting for the under-chin
Lifting by area and combination programs
Most patients care about a specific area rather than a device. These pages explain which options suit each zone and how devices are combined:
- Design Lift: Custom Lifting Program — our signature mapping-based approach
- Ultherapy + Thermage Combination — deep lift plus surface tightening
- Jawline Lifting — defining the jaw and reducing jowls
- Neck Lifting & Tightening — laxity, lines and bands
- Eye & Brow Lifting — a fresher, more open eye area
- Non-Surgical Facelift — realistic expectations versus surgery
- Lifting Treatments for Men — settings and discreet options
Who is a good candidate for non-surgical lifting?
Energy-based lifting suits adults with mild to moderate laxity who want gradual, natural improvement without surgery or long recovery. It can also be used preventively in the 30s. People with severe sagging may achieve more with surgery, and we will tell you honestly if that is the case. Treatment is generally postponed during pregnancy, over active skin infection, and some devices are not used over certain implants.

The Heal approach
Lifting is our focus: we map where laxity sits, layer by layer, and choose the device for each depth rather than one machine for every face.

Frequently asked
Lifting & Tightening: your questions answered
Which lifting device is best for me?
It depends on depth and cause. Deep sagging often suits Ultherapy Prime, surface laxity and texture suit Thermage FLX or Sofwave, and fullness may suit Onda. Many patients benefit from a combination designed at consultation.
How long do non-surgical lifting results last?
Results typically last around a year, sometimes longer, depending on the device, your age, skin quality and lifestyle. Many patients schedule maintenance sessions yearly. Individual results vary.
Can I fly home right after lifting?
For most energy-based lifting, yes. There is usually no open wound, so flying the next day is fine. Mild swelling or tenderness can last a few days, so plan important events accordingly.
At what age should I start lifting treatments?
There is no single right age. Some people start in their 30s for prevention, while others begin when laxity becomes noticeable. The doctor assesses your skin rather than your birth year.
