Frequently asked

International patient questions

  • Can I have treatment at a Seoul dermatology clinic as a tourist?

Yes. International visitors can book consultations and treatments at The Heal Dermatology Clinic Jamsil. We recommend messaging us before you travel so we can plan treatments around your dates.

  • Which treatments have the least downtime for travelers?

Energy-based lifting such as Ultherapy Prime, Thermage FLX, Sofwave and Titanium usually allows you to continue your plans the same day. Lasers and some injectables can cause temporary redness, swelling or bruising, so we schedule them earlier in your stay.

  • How far in advance should I contact you?

Ideally two to four weeks before your trip, so we can suggest a plan and reserve time. Shorter notice is often possible; message us on KakaoTalk with your dates.

  • Will I get a price before treatment?

Yes. Costs depend on your in-person assessment, such as the area and shot count, and are explained and confirmed with you before any treatment starts.

  • What if I have a question after I fly home?

You can message us after your visit. We provide written aftercare in English and can advise on what is normal during recovery and when to plan your next session.
