How Many Days You Need in Seoul for Skin Treatment

Quick answer

For a single lifting treatment such as Ultherapy Prime or Thermage FLX, two to three days in Seoul is usually enough. Injectables benefit from three to five days so swelling settles, while crust-forming lasers and booster series need longer. At The Heal in Jamsil, message us on KakaoTalk with photos and travel dates and we suggest timing before you book flights.

Energy-based lifting: the shortest stay

Treatments like Ultherapy Prime , Thermage FLX , Sofwave and Titanium are typically completed in one visit with little or no visible downtime. Consultation and treatment can often take place on the same day, so a short trip is realistic. We still suggest at least one extra day in Seoul in case of mild swelling, tenderness or a schedule change, and so you are not rushing to the airport straight from the treatment chair.

If you are combining two lifting devices on the same day, the timeline is usually similar, though tenderness may last a little longer.

Botox and fillers: allow time to settle

Botox takes several days to start working and around two weeks for the full effect, so the result you see on departure is not final. Fillers can cause swelling or small bruises for a few days. Staying three to five days lets you see how the area settles and gives the doctor a chance to review you if needed. Read how long Botox lasts for more on timing.

If you are new to injectables, a slightly longer stay also gives you the reassurance of being nearby while you get used to how the treated area looks and feels.

Lasers and resurfacing

Gentle laser toning causes little downtime, but spot removal and fractional CO2 lasers create small crusts or peeling that need care for about a week. Ideally, stay long enough for the first stage of healing and to see the doctor before flying. Our CO2 laser downtime FAQ outlines what to expect day by day.

Darker skin tones and melasma may call for gentler settings and more sessions, which also affects how long you should plan to stay. Your doctor will explain this after examining your skin.

Series treatments and return trips

Skin boosters such as Rejuran, laser toning and acne scar programs work best as a series spaced weeks apart. Few visitors can stay that long, so many patients plan:

  • a first session during this trip,
  • further sessions on later visits to Seoul, or
  • suitable follow-up with a local dermatologist at home.

When you plan a return trip, we can keep your treatment records so the next session builds on the previous one.

How to book from abroad and fix your dates

The simplest way to size your trip is to ask us before you buy tickets:

  1. Message us on KakaoTalk or email with clear photos, your main concerns and your travel dates.
  2. We reply with a suggested plan and how many days it realistically needs.
  3. Confirm your appointment once your flights are set.
  4. Meet Dr. Yang in person for an English consultation, then treatment if it suits you.

Pricing is quoted after your in-person consultation, once the plan is final. You can request a consultation online at any time.

Build in a buffer for holidays and travel

The Heal is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays. Check those dates before you fly, and avoid booking treatment on your final afternoon. A day or two of slack lets you rest, protect your skin and enjoy the city. For a lifting-focused plan, see our lifting treatment trip guide.

Plan around Korean holidays such as Lunar New Year and Chuseok, when many businesses close for several days and travel demand peaks.

The Heal approach

Send us your travel dates and goals first; we suggest treatments that fit the time you have, rather than squeezing in more than your skin can comfortably handle.

Frequently asked

How Many Days You Need in Seoul: your questions answered

  • Can I get treated on the day I arrive in Seoul?

It is possible for some treatments, but long flights can leave skin dry and you tired. Many patients prefer to rest on arrival day and attend their consultation and treatment the next day.

  • Is one day enough for Ultherapy in Seoul?

The procedure itself fits within one visit, but we recommend at least one extra day. It gives you time to rest, lets mild swelling settle and keeps your schedule flexible. We will advise on timing during your consultation.

  • What if I can only stay a weekend?

Saturday hours run 09:30 to 16:00 and we are closed on Sundays. A weekend trip suits a no-downtime option, but plan your consultation for Saturday morning to leave enough time.

  • Do I need a follow-up visit before flying home?

Not always. After lifting, a follow-up is rarely needed. After fillers or crust-forming lasers, a quick check before departure can be useful. The doctor will tell you at your consultation.
