FAQ

How Long Should I Stay in Seoul for Skin Treatment?

Quick answer

For no-downtime treatments like Ultherapy, Thermage, Botox or laser toning, 2 to 3 days is usually enough. For fillers and skin boosters, allow 3 to 5 days so swelling settles before you fly. For CO2 laser or stronger resurfacing, plan about 7 to 10 days. At The Heal in Jamsil, Seoul, we help you plan around your dates. Send your travel dates on KakaoTalk for a plan before you fly.

Recommended stay by treatment

  • Ultherapy Prime, Thermage FLX, Sofwave: 2 to 3 days; you can fly the next day. See planning a lifting trip .
  • Botox: 2 to 3 days; full effect appears after you return.
  • Fillers: 3 to 5 days, ideally with a check before departure.
  • Skin boosters: 2 to 4 days; bumps settle in about a day.
  • Laser toning, pico, Vbeam: 2 to 3 days.
  • RF microneedling: 4 to 5 days.
  • CO2 laser: 7 to 10 days; see CO2 laser downtime .

Why extra days help

Arriving a day before your appointment lets you recover from jet lag and gives time for an unhurried consultation. Staying a day or two after treatment allows a check-up, a small adjustment if needed, and time for swelling or redness to calm before a long flight.

If you want a series, such as skin boosters or laser toning, a stay of two weeks or more allows a second session. See skin booster sessions .

Sample itineraries

  • Weekend (2–3 days): consultation and lifting or Botox on day 1, sightseeing day 2, fly home.
  • One week: consultation, lifting plus a booster or toning, check-up, and a gentle second treatment if suitable.
  • Ten days or more: resurfacing such as CO2 early in the trip, then recovery, with lighter treatments added later.
