Volume & Contouring in Seoul: Botox, Fillers & Sculptra
Quick answer
Volume and contouring treatments use injectables to relax expression lines, restore lost volume and refine facial shape. At The Heal in Jamsil, Seoul, a board-certified dermatologist offers Botox, jaw Botox, skin Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers and Sculptra, planned around your anatomy for a natural result. Most have little downtime beyond possible minor swelling or bruising.

Botulinum toxin (Botox) treatments
Botulinum toxin temporarily relaxes targeted muscles. Used precisely, it softens dynamic wrinkles, slims an overdeveloped jaw muscle or, in tiny intradermal doses, refines pores and texture. Effects begin within days and usually last a few months. Doses and injection points are chosen to keep expressions natural, and a follow-up check about two weeks later allows fine adjustment if needed. Brands approved in Korea are used, and the doctor will tell you which product is planned.
- Botox (Botulinum Toxin) — forehead, frown lines and crow's feet
- Jaw Botox (Masseter) — slimming a square jaw and easing clenching
- Skin Botox (Micro Botox) — pores, oiliness, fine texture and the neck
Hyaluronic acid fillers
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers restore or add volume in specific areas. Because HA can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed, it is the most adjustable filler type. Careful technique and anatomical knowledge matter, especially around the eyes and nose, where blood vessels require caution. Fillers differ in firmness and longevity, so a softer product may be chosen for lips and a more structured one for the chin or cheeks. Results are visible straight away, with swelling settling over one to two weeks.
- Dermal Fillers — cheeks, temples, nasolabial folds and more
- Lip Filler — natural, Korean-style lip enhancement
- Under-Eye Filler — tear trough hollows, when suitable
- Chin & Profile Filler — chin projection and profile balance
Collagen stimulation with Sculptra
Some people prefer gradual change over instant volume. Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator that encourages the body to build its own collagen over several months, typically across a short series of sessions, with results that can last around two years. Because results build slowly, Sculptra suits patients who can return for follow-up sessions or who prefer change that friends notice as looking rested rather than treated. Massage after treatment is usually advised.
- Sculptra — gradual, natural-looking volume restoration

Is it safe, and who should wait?
In experienced hands, Botox and HA fillers have a well-established safety profile. Common effects include small bruises, swelling and tenderness for a few days. Rare but serious filler complications, such as vascular occlusion, are why anatomy-based injection by a doctor matters. Injectables are postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with active skin infection at the site, or with certain neuromuscular conditions. We also take time to understand what you would like to change and why, since sometimes lifting or a skin booster addresses the concern better than added volume.

The Heal approach
We inject for balance, not volume for its own sake: small, well-placed amounts that respect your features and expressions.

Frequently asked
Volume & Contouring: your questions answered
How soon can I see results from Botox and fillers?
Fillers show results immediately, though swelling settles over one to two weeks. Botox starts working within a few days and reaches full effect at around two weeks. Jaw Botox slimming appears gradually over several weeks.
Can I get Botox and filler on the same day?
Often, yes. Many patients combine them in one visit when the treatment areas and plan allow. The doctor will advise on order and spacing, especially if you are also having energy-based lifting.
Will I look overdone?
Our approach favors conservative amounts and natural proportions. It is easier to add a little more at a follow-up than to undo too much, so the doctor may suggest a staged plan.
Can fillers be reversed?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can usually be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed. Sculptra and other collagen stimulators cannot be dissolved, which is why careful planning is important.
