Long-Lasting Lift in Seoul: A Maintenance Plan That Works

Quick answer

A long-lasting non-surgical lift comes from treating several layers at once and then maintaining them on a schedule, rather than relying on one treatment. At The Heal in Jamsil, Seoul, a dermatologist typically combines Ultherapy Prime and Thermage FLX, adds collagen stimulators where skin is thin, and plans yearly maintenance. Results vary with age and lifestyle. Send photos for a maintenance plan before you fly.

What makes a lift last longer?

Non-surgical lifting works by stimulating new collagen. How long results last depends on how much collagen is built, how many tissue layers are treated, and how fast your skin ages afterward. Treating the deep support layer, the dermis and the skin surface together tends to give a more durable result than any single device. Sun exposure, smoking, rapid weight change and poor sleep shorten results; good habits extend them.

A three-phase long-lasting lift

  1. Phase 1 (month 0): the Ultherapy + Thermage combination for deep lift and skin tightening in one visit.
  2. Phase 2 (months 1–3): collagen stimulators such as Sculptra or Juvelook where skin is thin or volume has dropped, to strengthen the foundation.
  3. Phase 3 (month 6): a lighter top-up such as Titanium or Sofwave if needed, then the main combination again at around 12 months.

Your yearly maintenance plan

A simple, predictable schedule keeps results steady instead of letting them fade and starting over:

  • Every 12 months: main lifting session, adjusted to how your face has changed
  • Every 6 months (optional): a light lifting or booster top-up
  • Every 3–4 months: Botox for lines if desired
  • Daily: sunscreen and a retinoid or barrier-supporting routine

Visitors often time maintenance with an annual trip to Seoul. Our lifting treatment trip guide explains how.

Who benefits most?

This approach suits people from their late 30s onward with mild to moderate laxity who want steady, natural results without surgery, and those who have had good results from one lifting session and want to keep them. People with severe sagging may gain more from surgery. Energy-based lifting is postponed during pregnancy and over active infections, and some devices are not used over metal implants or with pacemakers.

Realistic expectations

Non-surgical lifting slows and softens aging rather than stopping it. Most people see results build over two to three months and last around a year or longer, with natural variation. Regular maintenance usually means each session can be a little lighter. Next step: share your lifting history and photos and we will propose a yearly maintenance schedule that fits your travel plans.

The Heal approach

We plan lifting as a long-term relationship with your face: one strong foundation session, then lighter, well-timed maintenance.

Frequently asked

Long-Lasting Lift: your questions answered

  • Which lifting treatment lasts the longest?

Results depend more on combination and maintenance than on one device. Ultherapy Prime and Thermage FLX are both commonly reported to last around a year or longer, and combining them tends to extend the effect.

  • How often should I repeat lifting?

Most people repeat the main treatment about once a year. Some add a lighter top-up at six months. Your dermatologist adjusts this based on age, skin and how results hold.

  • Can I combine lifting with fillers?

Yes, but we usually lift first, then add small amounts of filler only where volume is truly lost. Using filler alone to lift can make the face look heavy.

  • Do lifting results disappear suddenly?

No. Collagen built by treatment fades gradually as normal aging continues. That is why regular maintenance keeps results steady.
