What is Rejuran Eye?
Rejuran Eye is part of the Rejuran family of polynucleotide skin boosters made in Korea. Compared with the standard formulation used for the face, it has a finer consistency intended for the very thin skin around the eyes. Polynucleotides are thought to support the skin's own repair and collagen-producing cells, improving quality rather than adding bulk. Around the eyes, this can mean smoother, more resilient skin and softer fine lines. It is a gentle option for people who want refreshed eyes without the risks of placing filler in a delicate area.
Who is Rejuran Eye best for?
Rejuran Eye suits adults with crepey under-eye skin, fine lines, thin skin through which shadows show, or early crow's feet. It can be a better first step than filler for people with mild hollows plus thin skin, and it is often combined with other treatments for dark circles or crow's feet . It is not designed to fill deep tear troughs or remove fat bags. We avoid it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over active eye-area infection or eczema flares, and in people with fish or salmon-related allergies.
What happens during treatment?
Your eyes and the surrounding skin are assessed in good light, then cleansed and numbed with cream. Very small amounts of Rejuran Eye are placed superficially in the under-eye and outer-eye areas with a fine needle, staying away from the eyelid margin. The procedure takes about half an hour including numbing. Afterward you may notice small bumps, mild puffiness or tiny bruises, which usually settle within one to three days. Cool compresses and sleeping with your head slightly raised help. Concealer can typically be used the next day.
Results and how many sessions
Skin texture usually starts to look smoother within two to four weeks, with further improvement after each session. A typical plan is two to three sessions spaced a few weeks apart, followed by occasional maintenance. Because the treatment builds skin quality gradually, results look natural and are easy to explain. Results vary depending on age, sun damage and skin thickness. Rejuran Eye: your questions answered
Is Rejuran Eye the same as under-eye filler?
No. Under-eye filler adds volume to hollows, while Rejuran Eye improves the quality and texture of thin skin. They can be combined, but they solve different problems and suit different people.
Does Rejuran Eye hurt?
Numbing cream is used, and most people feel brief pricks. The eye area is sensitive, but the injections are superficial and the treatment is generally well tolerated. A cool compress afterward helps.
How soon can I wear makeup after Rejuran Eye?
Usually the next day, once any small bumps have settled. Use clean products and a gentle touch, and avoid heavy rubbing around the eyes for a few days.
Will Rejuran Eye help dark circles?
It can soften dark circles that are caused by thin skin showing the vessels beneath. It will not change pigmentation-based circles, which need brightening treatments instead.
